Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Fugitive arrested: A man charged with a 1990 murder in New York City was arrested at his girlfriend's apartment and is awaiting extradition. Baltimore police Lt. Frederick Roussey said John Drake, 63, was recently traced to the apartment in the 2300 block of Pentland Drive. On April 5, Detective Sgt. Darryl DeSousa, dressed as a postal worker, rang the apartment door bell. When Drake opened the door, DeSousa and other officers arrested him.

Southeastern District

Robbery: Two men knocked a man, 41, to the ground in the 1200 block of E. Fayette St. about 9 p.m. Tuesday and robbed him of $35.

Southern District

Assault: A man, 21, was seated in his car and parked in the 1000 block of Shellbanks Road about 4 p.m. Tuesday when a passenger in a passing car fired several shots at him. The man escaped injuries, but his car was hit several times.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Barbie dolls and an air compressor - all valued at $4,300 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 400 block of S. Pulaski St.

Northern District

Burglary: Jewelry and a computer - all valued at $7,000 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 300 block of E. University Parkway.

Balimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Rape: Police are investigating the rape of a female Woodlawn High School student on an unspecified day in the school by a male student, 17, known to her. The girl's parents reported the incident Sunday.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, entered an apartment in the 3400 block of Carriage Hill Circle about 2 a.m. Tuesday and robbed the male occupant of $753 and a cellular phone.
