Two people wearing masks robbed a Chevy Chase Bank branch in Columbia yesterday of an undisclosed sum of money, according to the Howard County Police Department.

The pair entered the bank in the 7200 block of Cradlerock Way about 9:35 a.m. They were armed with handguns and demanded money from bank employees. After receiving the cash, the robbers fled by car.

Police said they were unsure of the suspects' gender because they wore masks.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.
