Man found shot dies in hospital

Police identify 2 others in unrelated killings

A 19-year-old Reservoir Hill man who was shot Tuesday night in a house in the Loch Raven community of Northeast Baltimore died Wednesday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said.

Northeastern District officers responding to a report of a shooting in the 1600 block of E. Northern Parkway about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday entered the house and found Tavon Cooper, of the 2200 block of Park Ave., lying in a room and bleeding from a gunshot wound to the upper body, police said. Cooper died about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

In unrelated cases, police identified two men yesterday killed in separate incidents in the city.

Police said Tynard Barfield, 23, of the 4900 block of Alhambra Ave. was identified yesterday as the man found fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of N. Linwood Ave.

Early Wednesday, firefighters battling a blaze in a two-story rowhouse in the 700 block of N. Chester St. found the body of a man lying on the kitchen floor. He had been beaten and fatally shot. He was identified yesterday as Howard Hugh Hepburn, 25, a resident of the burned house.

No arrests had been made in the three killings, police said.
