Two drivers injured in crash in Gambrills

GAMBRILLS - Anne Arundel County police are investigating a two-car crash Sunday morning that left the drivers injured.

The crash occurred at 12:23 a.m. at Annapolis and Gambrills roads, when a 1999 Honda Civic traveling south on Gambrills Road struck a 1999 Ford Taurus headed east on Annapolis Road, police said.

The Honda, driven by Kimberly Ann Honaker, 30, of the 7600 block of Altoona Beach Road in Glen Burnie, failed to yield the right of way and struck the driver's side of the Taurus, police said.

The driver of the Taurus, Donald Glenn Meadows, 30, of the 1700 block of Crofton Parkway, suffered head injuries and was in critical condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Honaker was in serious condition at Shock Trauma.
