BAYARD -- An Anne Arundel County family was displaced early yesterday morning by a fire that burned their mobile home.

Seven or eight people lived in the home in the 900 block of Tequila St., including a 17-year-old boy who was taken to Calvert Memorial Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, said Lt. George Wiseman, Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman.

Officials received a call about 5 a.m. reporting the fire in Patuxent Mobile Estates, Wiseman said. Officials believe the fire started in a bedroom. The cause is under investigation. Damage was estimated at $10,000 to $15,000.
