Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Robberies: Police believe the same man robbed two Charles Village women Tuesday night. At 9:30 p.m., a woman about to enter her home in the 2500 block of Guilford Ave. was robbed of her keys after she refused to hand over money. About 8 p.m., a woman parking behind her home in the 2800 block of Guilford was robbed of $2 and a bag of newly purchased clothing valued at $62. The man threatened to kill her.

Western District

Robbery try/arrest: Two men, one with a handgun, were about to rob Economy Food Market in the 1300 block of W. Baltimore St. about 7:25 p.m. Tuesday when an employee sprayed a chemical irritant, causing them to flee. Moments later, one man returned and was arrested, police said. Charged with attempted armed robbery was Abdul Simmons, 21, of the 200 block of N. Calhoun St.

Eastern District

Robbery: A gunman on a bicycle robbed a male pedestrian, 36, of $100 about 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of N. Montford Ave., then pedaled off.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Attempted murder/arrest: James Cussaac, 34, was charged with the attempted murder of his wife during an argument Tuesday in their apartment in the 3900 block of Noyes Circle. The wife, stabbed in the arms and back, was treated at Northwest Hospital Center.
