Scott Falatach

St. Mary's, lacrosse

The 6-foot senior attack has 15 goals and four assists in three games in as many days for the unbeaten and No. 2 Saints of Anne Arundel County. Falatach scored seven goals and had an assist in an 11-8 win over No. 3 St. Paul's, four goals and three assists in a 14-7 rout of neighborhood rival Annapolis, and four goals in a come-from-behind win over eighth-ranked county rival Severna Park.

Against Severna Park, he scored three goals during a 6-1, third-period run, tying the game at 9 and giving the Saints a permanent lead at 10-9. A B-average student with an 1,190 SAT score, Falatach will play for North Carolina next season.


Ashley Stanwick

St. Mary's, lacrosse

The senior attack scored six goals and had two assists as the Saints swept their first three games- including wins over Anne Arundel County public school rivals Broadneck and Annapolis - and rose from No. 9 to No. 5 in The Sun's Top 15 poll. Stanwick scored five goals and had two assists in the Saints' biggest victory, a 10-8 upset of then-No. 5 Broadeck in Saturday's championship of the Annapolis Tournament. She also scored a goal in the semifinal 8-3 win over then-No. 10 Annapolis. Earlier in the week, she contributed an assist to a 6-4 win over C. Milton Wright.

Stanwick, who transferred from St. Mary's-Ryken as a junior, also plays field hockey. She has signed with Old Dominion to play lacrosse.
