A 20-year-old Manchester-area man was released on bail yesterday after his arrest on charges of sexually assaulting a 13- and a 14-year-old girl at a Finksburg home where one girl's elder sister was having a party, according to police and court documents.

According to charging documents, a man entered a bedroom where the two girls were sleeping about 3 a.m. Feb. 24 and had intercourse with the 13-year-old. He then touched the elder girl, court documents said.

The parents were not home, according to police, who were called to Carroll County General Hospital's emergency room where the 13-year-old was being examined.

Nathan Kyle Sanner of the 4100 block of Schalk Road No. 1 was arrested late Monday on charges including second-degree rape, second-degree assault, and third- and fourth-degree sexual offenses.

At a bail review yesterday in Carroll County District Court, Judge JoAnn M. Ellinghaus-Jones reduced bail from the $30,000 set by a District Court commissioner to $5,000, and ordered that Sanner have no contact with females younger than age 16.
