New positions

Bello is president, COO of Skye Hospitality

Skye Hospitality LLC promoted J. William Bello to president and chief operating officer of the White Marsh-based hotel developer and operator. A 30-year hospitality industry veteran, he had been Skye's vice president of operations, and in that capacity supervised construction and operation of the company's Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn in White Marsh. Before joining Skye in 1996, he was at Marriott International Inc. for 25 years.


Stepanian vice president of Weinberg Harris

Weinberg Harris & Associates promoted Mary-Margaret Stepanian to vice president of the Pikesville-based marketing and public relations agency. A College of Notre Dame of Maryland graduate, she joined the firm in 1992 and most recently was its manager of client services. The Homeland resident is a volunteer with the Baltimore Waterfront Festival and the Baltimore Book Festival.

Banking and finance

Altura is consultant with BOD Investment

BOD Investment Consulting Group Inc. hired Adrian M. Altura as associate consultant at the Baltimore-based division of Bolton Offutt Donovan Inc. He has responsibility for monitoring the performance of separate account and mutual funds management relationships. Formerly an attribution analyst and portfolio manager with Rydex Funds, he is a graduate of De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines, and is a member of the Washington Society of Investment Analysts.

Legal and insurance

Jones is associate attorney at Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf

H. Scott Jones has joined the Baltimore law firm of Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler LLC as an associate attorney. A University of Maryland law graduate, he is also a certified public accountant and is focusing on complex litigation.


Geier, Romano, Figlioli join McLean, Koehler

McLean, Koehler, Sparks & Hammond hired Nick Geier as network systems manager, Christopher Romano as an information technology specialist and Lori Figlioli as senior accountant.

Geier, a resident of Westminster, is assigned to the accounting and consulting firm's Towson headquarters. He is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College and a certified Microsoft systems engineer. Romano, a graduate of Orange Technical Institute, is a Microsoft-certified professional and systems engineer. He is assigned to the firm's Frederick office. Figlioli, assigned to the Towson office, is an accounting graduate of Pennsylvania State University and lives in Owings Mills.
