Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Shooting/arrest: A man, 27, was in critical condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot in the chest during an argument with another man over money. A suspect was arrested after the shooting, which occurred about 5:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of S. Hanover St. Charged with attempted murder and held at Central Booking and Intake Center was Darrell Strickland, 22, of the 4200 block of Grace Court in Curtis Bay.

Southeastern District

Robbery: After having his hair cut at Rick's Barber Shop in the 3200 block of Eastern Ave. about 5 p.m. Saturday, a man grabbed the 46-year-old barber around the neck and demanded money from the cash register and threatened him with a handgun. The robber fled with more than $100.

Northwestern District

Theft: A wig, fur coat, gold watch and ring -- all valued at nearly $3,400 -- were reported stolen Saturday from a 1997 Toyota parked in the 6200 block of Biltmore Ave.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Theft: A gold and white Shih Tzu dog valued at $750 was stolen Saturday from Pet Center at White Marsh Mall.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A shotgun valued at $300 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 7700 block of Queen Anne Drive.
