Maryland Goat Conference set for Saturday at Carroll County Agriculture Center

How to make goats a profitable agriculture enterprise is the focus of the Maryland Goat Conference, scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Carroll County Agriculture Center in Westminster.

Speakers will include veterinarians, a parasitologist, a goat broker and feedlot operator, and extension agents.

Commercial exhibits and door prizes also will be featured. Registration is $25 and includes lunch, refreshments and resource materials.
