On the front page of yesterday's editions of The Sun, an article from Kabul, Afghanistan, and its headline incorrectly identified the Nowruz celebration. It is a Zoroastrian holiday, a secular celebration that can be traced to Persian traditions that predate Islam.

An announcement of a workshop published in Thursday's editions mistakenly included the fax number of the organization, Fusion Partnerships. The group's telephone number is 410-889-4700. The workshop on race, class and peace issues is scheduled today, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Eubie Blake Cultural Center, 847 N. Howard St.

The Sun regrets the errors.
