The second-team All-Metro player, who is bound for Johns Hopkins, finished last season with 75 goals and 49 assists.

Kyle Dixon

Arch. Spalding, midfield-attack

The second-team All-Metro pick, who can score or feed with either hand, led the area in scoring last year with 57 goals and 63 assists.

Mark Collier

Arundel, attack

The All-Anne Arundel County choice led the Wildcats to a Class 4A-3A state runner-up finish, establishing school single-season records for total points (112) and assists (52).

Scott Falatach

St. Mary's, attack

Falatach earned second-team All-Anne Arundel County honors with 22 goals and 13 assists. He has signed with North Carolina.

Bobby Griebe

Boys' Latin, attack

The son of a National Hall of Fame member by the same name is one of eight returning starters, leading the offense with 18 goals and 37 assists. He has signed with Towson University.

Hayward Howard

St. Paul's, defense

This player's athleticism and quickness make him a threat to disrupt any offensive surge and disarm any opposing attackman.

Steve Mull

Fallston, attack

Unselfish and reliable, Mull led the Cougars' 3A-2A state title run with a school-single-season-record 77 assists and 14 goals.

Kurt Nordhoff

Mount Hebron, attack

Nordhoff earned All-Howard County honors with 52 goals and 33 assists; he will be the focal point of the Vikings' attack.

Mike Obringer

Dulaney, attack

Obringer is equally adept at scoring goals (career 97 points) and passing (93 assists). In the past two seasons, he had 81 points (40 goals, 41 assists) and 82 points (39, 43).

Loyola, defense

The lone returning first-team All-Metro player, bound for Johns Hopkins, has the quickness, skillful checks, man-to-man covering abilities and brains to shut down top scorers.
