HOWARD CRIME REPORT

The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Snowden River Parkway: 9000 block. Marshall's Department Store was robbed of an unknown amount of money late Friday.

Winter Pasture Way: 8500 block, Long Reach. Someone broke into a residence March 13 and stole several items.

West Columbia

Clarksville Road: 12100 block, River Hill. Two speed limit signs in front of River Hill High School were stolen, and a locked storage shed was kicked in Friday morning. Police apprehended a juvenile suspect, but two others ran away.

Harper's Farm Road: 5900 block, Harper's Choice. Someone entered a woman's residence while she was at work Thursday night, stole her credit card and used it to purchase a vehicle. Police apprehended a 21-year-old Columbia man who was driving the vehicle.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Baltimore National Pike: 8500 block, Ellicott City. A 2002 red Dodge Stratus was stolen from Nissan West on March 8 or 9.

Baltimore National Pike: 10100 block, Ellicott City. A front window at a High's convenience store was broken Saturday, and cigars, cigarettes and cash were taken.

N. Laurel/Savage/Jessup

River Island Drive: 8900 block, Savage. Someone ransacked an apartment March 13 and stole electronic equipment.
