Anthony leads Goucher to win

Career-high eight goals top Randolph-Macon, 18-15

Just two days after becoming the fourth player in school history to score 100 goals in his career, Phil Anthony scored a career-high eight goals yesterday to lead visiting Goucher to an 18-15 victory over Randolph-Macon in Ashland, Va.

The senior attackman moved ahead of teammate Qadir Stern and into third place in career goals at Goucher with 108. Stern also scored a goal in the Gophers' win to boost his career total to 107.

Ian Montgomery added a career-high five goals and a pair of assists in the victory, the Gophers' first in four meetings with Randolph-Macon.
