Stream's green hue believed to be prank

In what authorities said appeared to be a St. Patrick's Day prank, a stream connected to Dead Run in West Baltimore's Leakin Park turned bright green yesterday morning and fluoresced for about a mile.

John Verrico, a spokesman for the Maryland Department of Environment, said two investigators sent to the scene found no indication the coloring will have an environmental impact.
