2nd suspect arrested in Owings Mills killing

TOWSON - Baltimore County police arrested a second suspect yesterday in the fatal shooting Tuesday night of an Owings Mills man.

Steven Bernard Parker, 22, of the 2800 block of Boarman Ave. in Northwest Baltimore was arrested at his home and charged with one count of first-degree murder, police said. Police are looking for a third suspect.

Parker was arrested in the killing of Dimas Rodriguez, who was shot in an apparent home invasion.

Truck crash on Route 140 closes road; driver charged

REISTERSTOWN - Rush-hour traffic along Route 140 at the Baltimore-Carroll County line came to a halt in both directions for nearly seven hours yesterday morning after a pickup truck struck two electrical poles, authorities said.

The driver, 40-year-old Brian Glen Richman of the first block of Westgate Court in Owings Mills, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, making false statements to police and reckless driving.

In Harford County

Man dies after crash with truck on U.S. 1

BEL AIR - A man was killed in Harford County last night when his Ford Explorer collided with a pick-up truck, state police said.

The man, whom police did not identify, was driving south on U.S. 1 when he went through a red light and was hit in the side by a truck driving east on Whitaker Mill Road, state police said.
