Boundary adjustment for Pointers Run to go before board

The Howard County Board of Education will receive the proposed boundary line adjustments for Pointers Run Elementary School from David C. Drown, coordinator for geographical systems, at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, in the boardroom of the Department of Education, 10910 Route 108, Ellicott City.

Teen depression program planned for 7 p.m. Tuesday

A program on teen-age depression and what families can do to help will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the River Hill High School Information Center. The program is sponsored by the school's PTA.

The program is coordinated by psychiatrists and health care professionals from the Depression and Related Affective Disorders Association of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. DRADA's Young Peoples Outreach program provides information about depression.

Math and science fair slated Friday, Saturday

Long Reach High School, 6101 Old Dobbin Lane, Columbia, will be the site of the Annual Howard County Mathematics, Science and Technology Fair on Friday and Saturday.

The fair for middle and high school students is sponsored in cooperation with Shimadzu Scientific Laboratories.

Judging for middle school projects will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday; for high school projects, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday. An open house will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, followed by an awards ceremony at 4 p.m. in the school auditorium.

Local winners will go to the Baltimore Science Fair on March 23 at Towson University.
