The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Stanford Blvd.: 8800 block, Columbia Corporate Park. Two employees at iBiquity Digital Corp. spotted two unfamiliar men in the office Tuesday night. Both identified themselves as part of the cleaning crew, but a laptop computer valued at $3,500 was missing the next day.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Rustling Bark Court: 7900 block, Ellicott City. Someone forced open the front door of a residence yesterday and took a game system.

Troy Court: 6300 block, Ellicott City. A homeowner discovered a stranger sleeping on the floor. The stranger, identified as Jeffrey Todd Folden, 23, of the 5800 block of Whisper Way, Elkridge, said he had been drinking in Fells Point and needed a place to sleep because he was cold, police said. The resident discovered the man when he went downstairs Sunday morning to head to church.

Worthington Way and Montgomery Road: A man reportedly jumping up and down was spotted Feb. 6 in the traffic circle on Worthington Way. After being apprehended, police said, the mentally disabled man was released into his mother's custody.

Western Howard

Linthicum Road: Dayton. Someone entered an unlocked garage Saturday and took $900 from a vehicle.

Triadelphia Mill Road: 13100 block, Glenelg. Someone took an all-terrain vehicle and a dirt bike from a truck Monday.
