The Balalaika & Domra Music Makers and the Washington Balalaika Society Orchestra will come together for a concert at 8 p.m. Saturday at Jim Rouse Theatre for the Performing Arts at Wilde Lake High School in Columbia, as part of Candlelight Concerts' Discovery Series.

The musicians have appeared at Washington-area venues such as the Kennedy Center, Lisner Auditorium, National Museum of American History, Smithsonian, Ford's Theatre and the Russian Embassy.

The Lyman Ukrainian Dance Ensemble, based in Baltimore, and vocalists Nikita Wells and Anya Titova will join the Music Makers and orchestra for an evening of traditional Russian music and dance.

General admission is $15; students pay $5. Series subscriptions are available.

The Discovery Series continues March 23 with Ensemble Galilei and Jean Redpath, and April 20 with the Ethos Percussion Ensemble.
