Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Shooting: A man was shot in the left calf early yesterday in an apartment in the 2300 block of Tioga Parkway. Police said another man was playing with a gun and shot him. The victim was released after treatment at University of Maryland Medical Center. The man who shot him was being sought.

Southern District

Aggravated assault: A man was being sought on an assault charge yesterday for threatening a 33-year-old man early yesterday in the 1900 block of Hollins Ferry Road. The victim told police he was walking in the area about 12:15 a.m. when the assailant pointed an unknown caliber revolver at him and threatened him.

Southeastern District

Theft from auto: A thief broke a passenger-side window of a 1996 Honda Accord parked in the 500 block of S. Caroline St. between 10 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday and stole a CD player, 50 compact discs, a sweater, textbooks, tennis shoes, toiletries and two bags. The items were valued at $1,590.

Auto theft: A blue 1997 Saturn was stolen between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. Saturday from the 600 block of S. Caroline St.

Theft from vehicle: A thief broke the rear cab window of a 1998 Isuzu truck owned by R.H. Fewster Painting Co. parked in the 6300 block of Bank St. between 3:45 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday and stole a Grieco 395 paint spreader and a DeWalt half-inch drill. The items were valued at $900.

Auto theft: A burgundy 1994 Geo was stolen between 1:40 a.m. and 6:40 a.m. Saturday from the 1600 block of Orleans St.

Western District

Armed robbery: A man told police Saturday afternoon that he was robbed about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday by two men inside a house in the 1100 block of McKean Ave. He said he was slapped by one of the men, while the other pulled out a .22-caliber handgun, put it to the victim's head and stole $15, several compact discs and two McDonald's gift certificates.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Someone broke into a car parked in the 300 block of Chesterfield Ave. about 7 a.m. Saturday and stole items valued at under $100.

Southwestern District

Shooting: A man told police he was shot in the left wrist about 12:15 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Wildwood Parkway after investigating a suspicious person on his porch. The victim was treated at St. Agnes HealthCare.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Someone threw a rock through the window of a construction trailer in the 9200 block of Lakeside Blvd. and stole a cordless power drill between 5 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

North Point Precinct

Hit-run accident: A 7-year-old girl suffered a bump when she was hit by a red car about 6 p.m. Friday in the 7700 block of E. Dale Road in the North Point area. The driver left the scene of the accident, police said.
