A flying lesson for men

MY CORKSCREW was confiscated not too long ago. It was a good one, too, not one of those little 69-cent plastic jobs that I always used to carry, until the thing fell apart one night in a mini-bar bottle of wine and I swore I'd switch to a proper waiter's corkscrew.

I was at an airport, of course. As my purse went through the X-ray machine, an attendant called out for a supervisor, who came over, took the bag, and asked me, "Is this yours?"
