Come out of hibernation for the Cabin Fever Festival this weekend in Frederick. More than 200 professional artists and juried craft exhibitors will display traditional and contemporary works in seven buildings and heated tents at Frederick Fairgrounds. Craft demonstrations, decorating ideas, entertainment and food will also be offered to help chase away the winter blahs.

The festival site is on East Patrick Street. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6, $2.50 for ages 12 and under. Call 301-898-5466.

Huge indoor boat show opens in Atlantic City

You'll find plenty to rev your engine at the International Power Boat Show, anchored at the Atlantic City Convention Center through Sunday. Said to be the largest indoor boat show in North America, the New Jersey event includes more than 600 boats, including a display of million-dollar models stretching up to 65 feet in length. You can also embark on a tour of the 80,000-square-foot Marine Marketplace, where the latest in electronic navigational devices, engines and marine financial and insurance services will be offered at more than 400 booths. Hands-on activities, fishing seminars and demonstrations are also featured.

Show hours are 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $15, $6 for children under 12. Call 215-732-8001.
