"Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett was about a gingerbread baby who ran away from a lot of people who wanted to eat him. I really liked it when the gingerbread baby ran faster than the fox."

"If you like to read about history, you should read The Biggest (and Best) Flag that Ever Flew by Rebecca C. Jones. Caroline Pickersgill, her mom and her grandmother were flag makers who lived in Baltimore during the war of 1812. Soldiers asked them to make a flag that could be flown at Fort McHenry. The women made a flag that was 30 feet wide and 42 feet long, and it weighed 200 pounds. After the battle, the big flag was still flying. This flag inspired Francis Scott Key to write the Star Spangled Banner."

"My favorite book is Leo the Late Bloomer by Robert Kraus. I like this book because it has a tiger in it. I love Leo the Tiger. The tiger says he can't do anything, but it turns out he really can do things after all."
