Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Suspect sought: Tyrone Beane, 17, of the 700 block of Wharton Court is being sought in the shooting of two men, one fatally, on July 25 in the 1600 block of E. Madison St. Beane is charged in warrants with first-degree murder in the death of Christopher Smith, 17, of the 200 block of N. Carey St., and attempted murder in the wounding of Vernon Higgs. A motive is not known. Anyone with information on Beane's whereabouts was asked to call Detective Vincent Stevenson of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force at 410- 637-8970 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888.

Shooting: Angelo Davis of the 800 block of E. Madison St. entered the emergency room at Johns Hopkins Hospital on Tuesday afternoon bleeding from a gunshot wound to the right leg that broke the bone. The man was unable to tell police where the shooting occurred or who shot him.

Robbery try/assault: Two women were walking in the 1600 block of McElderry St. about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday when two men demanded their money. One of the assailants searched a bag carried by Kelley Odino, 24, and after finding no valuables struck her in the face with his fist, breaking her jaw. She was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Burglary: A DVD player valued at $500 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 500 block of N. Clinton St. by someone who entered through a window.

Stolen vehicle: A 1998 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle with tags M425177 was stolen Tuesday in the 3600 block of E. Pratt St.

Northeastern District

Stolen vehicle: A white 1988 Chevrolet Cavalier with tags JFM 757 was stolen Tuesday in the 3400 block of Kenyon Ave.

Theft from vehicle: Numerous compact discs, a CD player and a checkbook were stolen Tuesday from a 1995 Mitsubishi Galant parked in the 5200 block of Loch Raven Blvd.

Burglary: Jewelry valued at $40,000 was stolen Tuesday from the bedroom of a house in the 5400 block of Gerland Ave. by someone who entered through a ground-level window.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Burglaries: Two houses in the 4100 block of Glen Park Road were broken into Tuesday. Taken from one house were cash and two camcorders, with a combined loss estimated at $1,120. From the other, money and video game equipment valued at nearly $6,000 were stolen.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 40, was standing at Subet and Milford Mill roads just before midnight Tuesday when two men robbed her of a cellular phone and cash.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Video games and their accessories - all valued at more than $400 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1200 block of Cobb Road.

Stolen car: A 1994 Honda Civic with Florida tag E90 UHW was stolen Tuesday in the 8100 block of Greenspring Valley Road.
