Harford deputies seek bar burglary suspect

January 30, 2002|BY A SUN STAFF WRITER

Harford County sheriff's deputies have identified a second suspect in a suspected bar burglary that ended in a shooting last week, a spokesman said yesterday.

A warrant has been issued for Larry Zane Dawson, 35, on a second-degree burglary charge in the incident Jan. 22 at Winters Run Inn in Joppa, said Detective Tom Walsh of the Harford County sheriff's office.

Two men pried open the rear door, police said, and were confronted by the operator, who shot one. The second ran away.
