Police search for suspect who fled from hospital

State police issued an alert yesterday for a 24-year-old man who escaped late Wednesday from the grounds of the state's Springfield Hospital Center in Sykesville while awaiting trial in a string of residential burglaries from Carroll County to York County, Pa.

Craig William Hann was described by authorities as "a danger to himself and others."

He was described as white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 170 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He has "MOB" tattooed on the back of his neck and "POOH," "HARD" and "TIME" tattooed on his arms.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-386-3000.
