Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Robbery: A deliveryman for Spartan's Pizza in the 3600 block of Eastern Ave. was in the 6200 block of Alumore Ave. in O'Donnell Heights about 4 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a knife, robbed him of more than $100.

Burglary/arrest: A man, 28, was arrested Tuesday and charged with breaking into a house under construction in the 2200 block of Cambridge St. and stealing an electric drill valued at $250. Shortly after the burglary was discovered, the property owner spotted a man attempting to sell the drill near the house. Arrested was Lamont Hershey of the 300 block of S. Bethel St.

Theft from vehicle: A flatbed trailer owned by Pallet Repairs Inc. in the 200 block of S. Kresson St. was parked outside the property Wednesday when someone stole canvas straps, eight ratchet devices and a crowbar - all valued at nearly $500.

Eastern District

Assault: A man, 40, was walking in the 1700 block of N. Washington St. about 6 p.m. Wednesday shortly after an argument with two other men when one of them fired several rounds from a 9 mm semiautomatic weapon at him. The victim was not hit and police found the weapon two blocks away.

Shooting: A gunman in the 2400 block of E. Lanvale St. fired a shot at the driver of a passing 1997 Honda on Wednesday. The driver, 28, was treated for a back wound at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.

School burglary: Computer equipment valued at $2,100 was stolen over the weekend from Dr. Bernard Harris Sr. Elementary School in the 1400 block of N. Caroline St.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A man was attempting to leave Giant Food in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave. about 6 p.m. Wednesday without paying for cheese valued at $20 when a security officer stopped him. During a struggle, the man assaulted the officer, who detained him until police arrived. The 40-year-old suspect was charged with assault and robbery.

Northeastern District

Robbery: Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a man, 24, of his coat, boots and a pager while the victim stood at a bus stop in the 4800 block of Belair Road about 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A gunman with the word Bronx printed on the front of his hooded sweat suit robbed Subway in the 2300 block of Cleanleigh Drive of more than $100 about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Towson Precinct

Burglaries: Police believe the same person entered two residences at Glenmont Apartments on Wednesday after breaking holes in the walls of separate adjacent laundry rooms. Taken from an apartment in the 6900 block of Donachie Road was a compact disc player, 10 videotapes, coins and cash. From an apartment in the 6900 block of Lachlan Circle, a video camera and money were taken.
