Baltimore man arrested in N.C. on homicide charges

A 24-year-old man charged in two November homicides in Baltimore was arrested yesterday in North Carolina, police said.

Antoine Bolden of the 2000 block of Eutaw Place was arrested in Fayetteville by local police and detectives from Baltimore's Warrant Apprehension Task Force.

Bolden is charged in the Bolton Hill shooting death Nov. 16 of Myron Lee Chase, 46, who police said was operating an unlicensed taxicab, and the fatal shooting Nov. 20 of Robert Wright, 36, outside his Lighthouse Restaurant in the first block of Park Ave.

A second suspect in the latter slaying, Nathaniel Nelson, 18, of the 3000 block of Thorndale Ave., also was arrested in Fayetteville.

In unrelated cases, police announced the arrests on murder charges of Escor Evans, 17, in the shooting death Dec. 8 of Pernell Powell in the 1600 block of N. Montford Ave., and Damon Morgan, 26, in the fatal shooting Oct. 11 of Alberto Johnson in the 900 block of McAleer Court.
