Joppa View pupils reading their way across country

PERRY HALL - Pupils at Joppa View Elementary in Baltimore County have finished the first leg of their "Reading Road Trip USA." They are making their way across the country by accumulating reading hours - they're expecting to tally 3,000 in all - which are verified by parents and submitted to teachers weekly.

The first stop was Orlando, Fla. The next stop is the Missouri homestead of Laura Ingalls Wilder of Little House on the Prairie fame.
