Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Burglary: Police were seeking a man who entered Bohager's Restaurant in the 700 block of S. Eden St. through an unlocked front door about 6 p.m. Wednesday before the business opened and stole an employee's purse containing jewelry, cash and a check - all valued at more than $500. Before leaving the restaurant, the man was stopped by an employee who asked why he was in the building. The man said he was there to find out what time the restaurant opened.

Burglary: A stained-glass window valued at more than $200 was stolen Wednesday from atop the front door of a house in the 1200 block of S. Clinton St.

Stolen vehicle: A 1990 Plymouth van with tags 906969M was stolen Wednesday in the 6500 block of St. Helena Ave.

Western District

Stolen vehicle: A four-door green 1997 Plymouth with temporary Delaware tags X8532781 was stolen Wednesday in the 1400 block of W. Fayette St.

Burglary: Police continue to seek the person who broke into the Econo Market in the 1300 block of W. Baltimore St. on Tuesday through a rear garage door and stole $300 in change and 90 cartons of assorted brands of cigarettes - all valued at nearly $3,300.

Stolen car: Police were seeking a 1993 Chrysler with tags JRE 370 that was stolen Wednesday in the 2600 block of Edmondson Ave.

Stolen vehicle: A white 1986 Chevrolet Caprice with tags GYC 597 was stolen Tuesday in the first block of N. Small wood St.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1500 block of E. 29th St. through a rear kitchen door Wednesday and stole stereo equipment of unknown value.

Burglary: Perfume valued at $300 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 6800 block of Sturbridge Drive by someone who entered through the front door.

Robbery: A 79-year-old man was sitting on the front porch of his house in the 3700 block of Kimble Road about 11 a.m. Wednesday when another man robbed him of his wallet containing personal papers.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Armed carjacking: A resident of the Rossbrooke Apartments in the 100 block of Windy Falls Way was outside his home and removing items from the rear seat of his 1987 Ford Taurus about 8 p.m. Wednesday when two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of his wallet, keys and watch. The armed man and his accomplice drove off in the victim's car with tags DNC 491.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Coins and a watch were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 500 block of Carrollwood Road.

Burglary: A .22-caliber western-style revolver, several pellet guns and knives - all valued at nearly $600 - were stolen between Saturday and Wednesday from a house in the 800 block of Chester Road.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 600 block of Windwood Road through a rear kitchen window Wednesday and took nearly $100 from a purse.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, DVD player, camcorder and several compact discs were stolen yesterday from an apartment at Town & Country Northeast in the 7500 block of Stonecutter Court. Police said someone entered the apartment by knocking out a section of drywall of the adjoining laundry room.
