Police identify man killed in east-side shooting

A man who was fatally shot Tuesday night in East Baltimore was identified by city police yesterday as Ray Antonio Gregory, 24, of the 700 block of N. Linwood Ave.

Gregory was talking to an unknown man in the 2600 block of E. Madison St. about 7 p.m. when the man pulled out a handgun and shot him at least twice in the chest, police said. Gregory died a short time later at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
