In Baltimore City Man fatally shot after being chased across intersection

A 25-year-old man was fatally shot yesterday afternoon after being chased by three men across a Southwest Baltimore intersection, police reported.

Police Sgt. Michael Lear of the homicide squad said witnesses saw the victim standing in the 1800 block of Frederick Ave. about 1:30 p.m. when the gunman and two unarmed men chased him across the intersection at Fulton Avenue - near the border of the Union Square, Franklin Square and West Pratt neighborhoods.

Kenya Davis, 25, whose address was not know, was shot in the arms, chest and head - at least one of rounds being fired as he lay on the pavement - and died a short time later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said, adding that they knew of no suspect or motive.

Anyone with information was asked to call Detective Frank Miller at 410-396-2100.
