Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 34-year-old man of jew elry and an undisclosed sum of money in the 800 block of N. Curley St. about 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Theft: A 2002 mo-ped was stolen early Saturday by someone who cut a chain holding it to a pole in the 500 block of N. Caroline St.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A male, 18, was walking in an alley in the 2500 block of Kirk Ave. about midnight Friday when he was stopped by two men who asked if he wanted marijuana. When the victim said no, one of the men pulled a knife and robbed him of $20.

Stolen vehicle: A black 1983 BMW with tags EEX 709 and equipped with an anti-theft device was stolen Saturday in the 4300 block of Marble Hall Road.

Burglary: A 26-year-old man, after hearing a loud noise, let his two large dogs run down the basement steps of his home in the 3900 block of E. Northern Parkway about 2 a.m. Saturday. Seconds later, an intruder was heard fleeing the basement through a door. No arrest was made and no property was reported missing.

Southeastern District

Stabbing: A man, 39, was waiting for his sister in the 3000 block of Orleans St. about 10:40 p.m. Saturday when another man demanded his money. When the victim refused, the would-be robber pulled out a sharp weapon and stabbed the victim in the back of the head and the lower back. The victim refused medical treatment from Fire Department paramedics.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Locker's Liquors in the 3800 block of Eastern Ave. of more than $100 about 7 p.m. Saturday.

Burglary: A first-floor stained-glass window valued at nearly $600 was stolen between Jan. 4 and Friday from a house in the 500 block of N. Robinson St.

Stolen vehicle: A white 1993 Dodge Spirit with tags JTE 307 was stolen Saturday in the 1300 block of Anglesea St.

Southwestern District

Assault: Two women were being sought in the stabbing early Saturday of two men in the 3300 block of Old Frederick Road. The men, 21 and 23, were stabbed during an argument with the women and were treated at St. Agnes HealthCare.

Shooting: A 23-year-old man was walking in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. about 2 a.m. Saturday when someone shot him in the stomach. Yesterday, the victim was in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Stolen vehicle: A 1988 Chevrolet Beretta with tags CVE 916 was stolen Saturday in the 3800 block of St. Benedict St.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: Stage costumes, jewelry and several musical instru ments - all valued at more than $3,000 - were stolen Saturday night from a 1983 Dodge Ram parked in the 3800 block of S. Hanover St.

Stolen vehicle: A two-door 1993 Mercury Cougar with tags HVD 930 was stolen Saturday in the 800 block of W. Lombard St.

Robbery try/assault: A man, 32, was walking in the 500 block of E. Patapsco Ave. about 4 p.m. Saturday when four men he knew asked him for money. When the victim said he had none, the men struck him with their fists and kicked him before fleeing. The victim fled to a nearby bar, where a patron called police. The victim was treated at Harbor Hospital Center and released. No arrests had been made.

Theft/arrest: A 34-year-old man was arrested Saturday when he tried to leave Blockbuster Video in the 3400 block of Annapolis Road without pay ing for at least two videotapes. An off-duty city police officer detained the man after he recovered the tapes from the man's clothing.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A gunman entered Rite Aid in the 2800 block of Smith Ave. about 11 a.m. Saturday and gave an employee a note indicating he wanted money or he would start shooting. The employee complied and the gunman fled with about $200.

Burglary: Computer equipment valued at $300 was stolen during the weekend from a house in the 300 block of Garrison Forest Road by someone who entered through a door.

Vandalism: A GMC Denali sport utility vehicle was parked on the lot of Owings Mills Town Center mall in the 10000 block of Mill Run Circle on Saturday afternoon when someone used a sharp object to scratch the left rear door, causing $200 damage.

Woodlawn Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A 2000 Honda Accord with tags HLF 438 was stolen Saturday from the parking lot of Security Square Mall.
