Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Carjacking: After a male, 18, stepped out of his Dodge Durango sport utility vehicle in the first block of S. Linwood Ave. about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, two younger males robbed him of his keys and drove off in the vehicle. The SUV has tags 774908M.

Robbery: A woman, 51, was walking in the 3000 block of O'Donnell St. about 8 p.m. Wednesday when a man armed with a knife robbed her of her purse containing a cellular phone, day planner and sunglasses.

Western District

Theft: While a man shopped at Food City Market in the 2000 block of W. Lafayette Ave. on Wednesday, someone stole his bicycle valued at $300 that he had parked inside the store. Police said the theft was captured on a surveillance camera, but no arrest had been made.

Northwestern District

Carjacking: A male, 18, was stopped for a traffic signal in the 3000 block of Mondawmin Ave. about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday when two gunmen forced him from his 1988 Honda Civic and drove away.

Eastern District

Robbery: A 43-year-old man was standing outside his house in the 1400 block of N. Bond St. about 9 p.m. Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of $15.

Northeastern District

Burglary: A television, videocassette recorder, television games and DVD player were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 4200 block of Loch Raven Blvd.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Robbery/arrest: After two men robbed a man of his keys in his apartment in the first block of Farmingham Court about 2 a.m. Wednesday, one of them fired a handgun several times. The robbers drove off in the victim's car. Moments later, on nearby Proctor Lane, police spotted the car and captured one man when the vehicle stopped near Weber's Cider Mill Farm. The other man was being sought. Charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault and theft was Eric Adams, 26, of the 2700 block of Pelham Ave. in Northeast Baltimore.

Towson Precinct

Robbery try: A boy, 17, was walking on Putty Hill Avenue near Oakleigh Road about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when a man tried to rob him. During a struggle, the youth's right hand was broken. A K-9 team tracked the man through Oakleigh Pet Cemetery, but lost his trail. The youth was treated at an area hospital.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Two handguns and a Russian assault rifle were reported stolen Wednesday from a house in the 10000 block of Liberty Road.
