Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Assault: After a woman answered a knock at her door in the 1800 block of McHenry St. about 9 p.m. Monday, a man she knows as "Eric" stabbed her in the left arm with a syringe while saying, "I hope I have AIDS." The woman refused medical treatment.

Southeastern District

Theft: As four teen-age males left a cab in the 300 block of Jefferson St., one stole the driver's cellular phone and money Monday evening. Before the cabdriver drove off, one youth threw a brick at the vehicle, breaking a window.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A woman, 35, was leaving a clinic in the 2000 block of Sinclair Lane about 12:30 p.m. Monday when a man armed with a knife robbed her of more than $200.

Eastern District

Theft by trick: A woman entered the home of an elderly female resident of the 2700 block of E. Preston St. after telling the victim, "I have something for you." Once in the house, the woman stole the victim's purse containing a small sum of money Monday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A boy, 14, was crossing the Towson High School campus in the first block of Cedar Ave. about 3:20 p.m. Monday when he was stopped by an older male who asked to see his wallet. When the victim complied, the elder male took nearly $60 and fled.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery try: Two teen-age males were walking in the 4800 block of Hazelwood Ave. about 10 p.m. Monday when they stopped a man, 21, on his way home and demanded his money. The victim struck one of the youths in the face. Both youths fled empty-handed.
