Ethnic fare

Do you have a particular place where you buy Asian noodles or German bread? We want to hear about it. The Sun is compiling a list of ethnic groceries in the Baltimore area. Send us the store's name, address, phone number and the kind of products it sells. We must receive the information by Jan. 16.

Freshness in the bag

You can keep precious produce fresh longer this winter with new storage bags that remove ethylene gas and moisture that lead to spoilage. Evert-Fresh Bags are sold 10 to a package, with prices beginning around $3. They can be found at area stores, including Fresh Fields/Whole Foods Markets, or online at www.greenbags.com.

Snacks on the job

Is your job making you fat? Fitness magazine finds that one reason more than half of Americans are overweight is because of their office environment, where workers tend to skip lunch and eat fattening snacks out of boredom or habit.
