Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Suspect sought: Durante Ricco Ervin, 41, of the 2400 block of Shirley Ave. has been charged in warrants with three home-invasion robberies in Northwest Baltimore and one near Pikesville in Baltimore County over the past several days that victimized elderly people. In one incident Saturday, a 79-year-old man was threatened with a knife in his home in the 3300 block of Shelburne Road. Anyone knowing Ervin's whereabouts was asked to call police at the 911 emergency number.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A man, 46, was robbed at knifepoint of $58 by another man about 1 p.m. Sunday while walking in the 100 block of S. Linwood Ave.

Eastern District

Robbery: A man, 43, was walking in the 1500 block of E. Federal St. about 9 p.m. Sunday when a gunman stepped out of a Burgundy 1989 Honda and robbed him of $15 before driving away.

Northeastern District

Robbery: Three men, one armed with a handgun, robbed Krauszer's Food Market in the 5700 block of Belair Road of an undisclosed amount of money about 10 a.m. Sunday.

Southern District

Robbery try/shooting: Two men, one with a small-caliber handgun, attempted to rob a 26-year-old man in the 4200 block of Audrey Ave. about 10:30 p.m. Sunday. The victim - shot when he turned to flee - was treated for a minor wound at Harbor Hospital Center.

Southwestern District

Stolen vehicle: A 1998 Chevrolet Lumina with tags FEM 480 was stolen Sunday in the 4800 block of Williston St.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Burglary/arrests: Two men were arrested early Sunday and charged with entering an outside storage lot at Jerry's Chevrolet in the 1900 block of E. Joppa Road and attempting to steal tires from several vehicles. Arrested in a woods near the lot by Officer Jeffrey Lipscomb were Michael Schmidt, 18, of the 6900 block of Sollers Point Road and Charles Brown, 18, of the first block of Woody Road.

Robbery/arrest: A man arrested for driving while intoxicated Christmas Eve and who was released on bail Friday from the county detention center was arrested the next day and charged with robbing the Royal Farms store in the 8200 block of Harford Road at gunpoint the night he was freed. A police dog traced the gunman to the rear of a nearby gun shop, where officers found a jacket containing identification that led them to a nearby dwelling. There, police arrested John Thomas, 39, of the 2700 block of Emerald Road, Parkville. Thomas was being held in lieu of $75,000 bail last night.

Woodlawn Precinct

Theft/arrests: Two 16-year-old Woodlawn boys entered a Getty gas station in the 8200 block of Liberty Road about 7 p.m. Sunday and were about to leave after stealing candy valued at 75 cents when an employee told them to return the candy and leave. Instead, the boys struck the employee and escaped on a dirt bike. About a mile away, police spotted the boys on Mindale Circle and arrested them. They were charged as juveniles and released to the custody of their parents.

Garrison Precinct

Burglaries: Someone broke into two apartments in the 500 block of Milford Mill Road during the weekend. From one apartment, the intruder stole an undisclosed amount of cash. From the other, a television, camera and other property were stolen.
