Parish to present one-woman drama about biblical women

St. James Parish will present a one-woman drama, Women of the Bible, at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the parish hall, 5757 Solomons Island Road in Lothian.

The show will feature actress Anita Gutschick of Arnold, who has portrayed biblical women such as Mary Magdalene, Ruth of the Old Testament and Abraham's wife Sarah. She will conclude the program with personal testimony.

Gutshick has performed in community theaters since 1989 and has portrayed women of the 18th century at Charles Carroll House and London Town Publick House.

Admission is $5 per person or $15 per family. Information: 410-867-2838.
