Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Rape: A 31-year-old woman told police she was given a ride by a man in the 1600 block of Dundalk Ave. about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and was attacked after being driven to an isolated area off the 100 block of Kane St. near Interstate 95. She said she was struck in the face several times before being raped. The woman was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Robbery: Three men, one of them implying he had a handgun, forced their way into a house in the 2000 block of Gough St. about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and robbed the male occupant, 31, of a set of keys and his wallet containing $150.

Northeastern District

Carjacking: A woman, 38, and her two children were seated in her 1994 Mitsubishi Montero sport utility vehicle in the 700 block of E. 25th St. about 7 p.m. Tuesday when a man who implied he was armed with a handgun forced his way in and drove off. At Kirk and Bonaparte avenues, the man stopped and allowed the woman and children to exit the vehicle before he drove away. The vehicle has vanity tags JISLORD.

Eastern District

Shooting: A man, 22, was walking in the 2100 block of E. North Ave. about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, tried to rob him. During a struggle, the victim was shot in the right chest. The men escaped without money or property and the victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A tailgate valued at $1,000 was stolen Monday from a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup truck parked in the 1500 block of Washington Blvd.

Western District

Theft: A black mink coat and a leather jacket - all valued at more than $4,200 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1200 block of N. Calhoun St. A known suspect was being sought.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A cordless telephone of unknown value was stolen Tuesday from a house in the first block of Stonewain Court by someone who entered through a sliding glass door.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a shotgun, robbed a 7-Eleven in the 8000 block of Liberty Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 9:30 p.m. Monday.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the first block of Sawmill Branch Road on Tuesday and removed $50 from a wallet in the kitchen.
