Howard County Police are searching for a 36-year-old man they believe robbed Normandy Liquors in Ellicott City this month.

Victor Bernard McCallum of no fixed address in Baltimore is wanted in Baltimore and Harford counties in four robberies, all but one at liquor stores.

Howard police issued an arrest warrant for him late last week in a daytime robbery Dec. 15 at Normandy Liquors.

A man matching McCallum's description announced a robbery at the store while making a purchase about 3:30 p.m., police said. The man pulled a handgun and demanded money from an employee before fleeing on foot, police said.

Howard police said they obtained an arrest warrant for McCallum after matching his fingerprints to some at the scene.

In Harford, the Sheriff's Office issued an arrest warrant charging McCallum in three robberies in the past month -- two at liquor stores and one at an auto shop.

The warrant covers a robbery Nov. 25 at Island Liquors in the 1000 block of Joppa Farm Road, a robbery Dec. 7 at Woodbridge Liquors on U.S. 40 in Edgewood and a robbery Dec. 13 at Western Auto in Fallston Mall in the 2000 block of Bel Air Road.

Baltimore County police are seeking McCallum in a robbery Oct. 17 at George's Liquor Store in the 2100 block of Merritt Blvd. in Dundalk. He has been charged in a warrant with the robbery.

State criminal records show no previous armed robbery charges for McCallum, who has been convicted on drug-related counts.
