December 14, 2001|BY A SUN STAFF WRITER

The man killed Wednesday in a North Laurel warehouse accident was identified yesterday as Prince George's County resident Moyo Bhekimpilo.

Bhekimpilo, 37, of the 11400 block of Laurelwalk Drive in Laurel drove a forklift into a large shelf at Business Flooring, in the 9100 block of Whiskey Bottom Road, Howard County police said.

The crash, which occurred about 6:30 a.m., caused flooring materials to fall from the shelf onto Bhekimpilo as he tried to escape.

Bhekimpilo was taken to Laurel Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Howard County police found no evidence of foul play, police spokeswoman Sherry Llewellyn said.

Maryland Occupational Safety and Health officials are investigating.
