Theft: Someone entered a room at Northern High School in the 2500 block of E. Northern Parkway about 10 a.m. Friday and stole a laptop computer valued at $2,000.
Aggravated assault: Police were seeking a woman who struck another woman in the head at least once with a metal bat while the victim was talking to another person in the 600 block of N. Carey St. late Friday. The assailant drove off in a cream-colored Cadillac and was being sought. The victim was treated at the scene by Fire Department medics. Police said the assailant is known to the victim.
Rape: A woman was walking in the 100 block of N. Glover St. about 3 a.m. Saturday when a man grabbed her around the neck and dragged her into an alley. There, the man forced the woman into a nearby vacant house and raped her. The victim was treated at Mercy Medical Center. No arrest has been made.
Stolen vehicle: A green 1998 Toyota pickup truck with tags A006432 was stolen Saturday in the first block of N. Conkling St.
Robbery: A 48-year-old man was walking in the 3400 block of Eastern Ave. about midnight Saturday when a man armed with a knife robbed him of his wallet containing $100 and credit cards.
Knife attack: Eric Ware, 32, of the 1200 block of Cooks Lane in Southwest Baltimore was arguing with his ex-girlfriend in the 600 block of N. Chester St. about 9 p.m. Saturday when he was cut on the hand with a knife. The woman, 38, fled and was being sought. Ware was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Carjacking: While stopped at a traffic sign at Lafayette Avenue and Caroline Street about 1 a.m. Saturday, a 44-year-old man was dragged from his car by an unknown man who drove off with the vehicle. The car was found abandoned nearby. No arrest had been made.
Stolen vehicle: A white 1994 Lexus with tags JKE 617 was stolen between Nov. 29 and Saturday in the 2900 block of E. Madison St.
Burglary: Someone entered Kozy Korner Records in the 1700 block of N. Wolfe St. and stole more than 100 compact discs Friday. Police found no sign of forced entry.
Theft from vehicle: A purse and a cellular phone were stolen Saturday from a 2001 Mitsubishi parked in the 500 block of N. Patterson Park Ave.
Theft from vehicle: Someone entered a 2000 Toyota through the trunk while it was parked in the 1200 block of E. Lanvale St. and stole two coats and several tools Friday.
Robbery: Police were seeking a man who robbed a 47-year-old woman of her purse while she was walking Friday night in the first block of N. Greene St. The purse contained a small sum of money and personal property.
Robbery: A 63-year-old woman was walking in the 3900 block of Flowerton Road about 6 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed her of $10. The man was wearing a jacket with the word "Cool" printed in white letters on the back.
Burglary: Someone broke into Sam's Discount Meats in the 100 block of W. Montgomery St. early Saturday through a side door and stole an undisclosed sum of money. The burglary was discovered by police responding to an alarm.
Church burglary: A coffeemaker and two desk telephones were stolen early Saturday from St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Curtis Bay in the 3900 block of Pennington Ave. by someone who entered through a door.
Theft from vehicle: A 2000 Ford was parked Saturday in the 200 block of Hawthorne Road when someone stole a 15-inch tire and rim, with an estimated value of $300.
Burglary: A laptop computer valued at more than $2,000 was stolen Saturday from an apartment in the first block of W. Cold Spring Lane by someone who entered after forcing open a door.
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2500 block of W. Belvedere Ave. through the front door Saturday and stole a stereo system, DVD player, television and a videocassette recorder -- all valued at more than $1,000.

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment at Town & Country Northeast in the 7500 block of Twincrest Court between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. yesterday and stole a wallet containing nearly $500.
Burglary: A coin collection valued at nearly $300 was stolen yesterday from a house in the 9700 block of Bird River Road by someone who entered through a rear door.
Burglary: Archery equipment and a skateboard were stolen yesterday from a storage locker of an apartment building at South Woods Apartments in the first block of Eddystone Place.
