HOWARD CRIME REPORT

The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Dobbin Center Way: 6400 block. Someone smashed the glass front door of All Tune and Lube on Friday and took money from a cabinet.

Guilford Road: 8600 block, Kings Contrivance. Someone smashed the front window of a business Friday and took money.

West Columbia

Stevens Forest Road: 5600 block, Oakland Mills. Someone entered an apartment Saturday or Sunday and took a videocassette recorder and stereo equipment.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

U.S. 40: 8500 block, Ellicott City. A man and woman entered a business Saturday, displayed a handgun and announced a robbery. Police did not say what was taken.

Washington Boulevard: 7300 block, Elkridge. Someone stole $15,000 worth of marble tiles from RHI Inc. between Thursday and Sunday.

N. Laurel/Savage/Jessup

Guilford Road: 10700 block, Annapolis Junction. A rock was thrown through the front window of Bob's BMW on Thursday, and about $3,000 worth of leather motorcycle riding gear was stolen.

Western Howard

Clarksville Square Drive: 5800 block, Clarksville. Someone threw a brick through the glass front door of Jiffy Lube and stole money Friday or Saturday.

Route 108: 12400 block, Clarksville. A brick was thrown through the window of Artie's Ice Cream between Nov. 21 and Nov. 24 and money was taken. Money was also taken from Breakfast Burgers & More at the same location.
