FESTIVAL OF TREES

There will be gingerbread houses, decorated wreaths and trees, handcrafted goods and more, for show and sale, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 25 at the Cow Palace at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, York Road, Timonium. $8; $4 children and seniors. Call 443-923-7300.

FESTIVAL OF TREES

See decorated trees, shop for gifts, hear choral music and more at the Havre de Grace Community Center, Graceview Drive. Hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 25; 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Nov. 26-30; 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 1. $3; free for ages 10 and under. Call 410-939-3303.

HOLIDAY SHOW

Find pottery perfect for gift-giving at the holiday show and open house, running through Dec. 24 at the Potters Guild of Baltimore, Meadow Mill, 3600 Clipper Mill Road, Hampden. Hours are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays; 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays; and 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Sundays. Free. Call 410-235-4884.

HOLIDAY EXHIBITION

Christmas ornaments, jewelry, paintings and more will be on exhibit and for sale, Nov. 29-Dec. 31 at the Maryland Federation of Art's Circle Gallery, 18 State Circle, Annapolis. Hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Sundays. Free. Call 410-268-4566.

SYMPHONY HOMES

FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Take a walking or driving tour of six holiday-decorated homes in Sudbrook Park, Nov. 29 and 30 and Dec. 1. Homes in this year's tour were built in the 1890s by Frederick Law Olmsted, who designed New York's Central Park. Tours run 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Decorative items from the homes will be for sale at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 110 Sudbrook Lane, Pikesville. Tours are presented by the Baltimore Symphony Associates. Tickets are $15 at the door; $12 in advance or off-site. Call 410-783-8000.

AN INVITATION

TO A CARROLL

CHRISTMAS HUNT

Tour the decorated rooms at the Carroll County Farm Museum, watch artisan demonstrations, and browse the goods at the Christmas craft show. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 30 and Dec. 7; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Dec. 1 and 8; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 2 and 9. The museum is at 500 S. Center St., Westminster. $1. Call 410-848-7775.

ORNAMENT MAKING

You'll make a ready-to-hang wooden ornament with help from carver / sculptor Jim Calder Jr., at one of two classes offered Dec. 1 at the Baltimore County Historical Society, 9811 Van Buren Lane, Cockeysville. HOLIDAY MEMORIES

AT THE MHS

There'll be craftmaking, historic party games and a celebration of winter holidays, 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Maryland Historical Society, 201 W. HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE

If you're looking for hand-blown glass gift items, stop by the Corradetti Glass Studio's holiday open house Dec. 1 and 2. Find bowls, ornaments and more, and watch glass being blown, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., at the studio, 1111 Hollins St. Free. Call 410-727-4386.

THE DREIDEL SHOP

HOMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Visit 11 historic Baltimore houses, all decorated for the holidays, noon-5 p.m. Dec. 8. Homes include the Maryland Historical Society's Enoch Pratt House, Evergreen House, Homewood House Museum, Star-Spangled Banner Flag House and the Edgar Allan Poe House. Enjoy refreshments, holiday music and shopping at most sites. Admission is $1 or less. Call 410-516-0341.

CYLBURN IN

HOLIDAY DRESS

Tour the decorated mansion and arboretum Dec. 8 and 9 at Cylburn, 4915 Greenspring Ave. Also, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 8, attend a lecture and demonstration on "Aromatherapy for the Holidays." HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA

OUT OF HAND CRAFT SHOW
