Olney's season ends with `She Loves Me'

Olney Theatre Center wraps up its 2001 season with She Loves Me, a show set during the Christmas holidays. Based on the Hungarian play by Miklos Laszlo that was also the source for the movies The Shop Around the Corner, In the Good Old Summertime and, more recently, You've Got Mail, the musical is set in a Budapest parfumerie.

Peggy Yates and Stephen F. Schmidt play feuding co-workers who are unaware they are each other's secret romantic pen pals. Olney's production is directed by Jim Petosa, with musical direction by Chris Youstra. She Loves Me has a score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick and a book by Joe Masteroff.

Show times at Olney Theatre Center, 2001 Olney-Sandy Spring Road, Olney, are 7:30 p.m. Sundays and most Tuesdays; 8 p.m. most Wednesdays-Saturdays; matinees at 2 p.m. Sundays and most Saturdays, through Dec. 30. Tickets are $15-$34. Call 301-924-3400.
