Football game

Tomorrow

Loyola (3-6) vs. No. 13 Calvert Hall (6-3)

Site: PSINet Stadium

When: 10 a.m.

Outlook: This is the season finale for both teams and the 74th annual Thanksgiving Day game between the two schools. It should be an emotion-filled one in this, the final season for retiring Loyola coach Joe Brune. His Dons (1-2 in the MIAA A Conference) lead the series 42-31, and had won 11 straight games until last fall's 7-6 double-overtime victory by the Cardinals (1-2 league). Calvert Hall has beaten No. 14 Mount St. Joseph, which routed Loyola. But Loyola has an upset win over No. 3 Gilman, which routed Calvert Hall. In its upset of Gilman, Loyola was led by QB Marcus Frisby, a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder who is a threat to run or pass. Against Mount St. Joseph, the Cardinals relied heavily on OL-DL Blake McCoy and DB-RB Matt Eckerl.
