East Columbia
Sweet Fern: 6500 block, Owen Brown. A man exposed himself to a woman and her children as they drove by Nov. 16. He is described as being about 50 years old and balding, and he was wearing a flannel shirt and tan pants.
White Peach Place: 6400 block, Owen Brown. Someone entered a garage Nov. 18 and entered a residence through an unlocked interior door. The intruder took $100 from a purse and stole a Mercedes.
West Columbia
Silent Dell Lane: 6900 block, Kings Contrivance. Someone entered an unlocked garage Nov. 16 or 17 and took a euphonium valued at $800 from an unlocked vehicle.
Ellicott City/Elkridge
Frederick Road: 11700 block, Ellicott City. Someone broke into a house under construction Nov. 16 and stole a Jacuzzi tub.
Meadowridge Road: 6500 block, Elkridge. Someone pried open a rear door to Geo Technical Labs on Nov. 14 or 15 and took scales, blank checks and other property.
N. Laurel/Savage/Jessup
Barrel House Road: 9600 block, North Laurel. Someone known to the resident removed a TV, radio and jewelry from a residence Nov. 14.
Johns Hopkins Road: 10700 block, North Laurel. Someone entered through a basement window Nov. 15 and stole electronics.
Birchwood Way: 8800 block, Jessup. A neighbor observed several people carrying items from a residence to a vehicle Nov. 14. Officers later found that vehicle, but its driver refused to stop and hit a large truck on U.S. 1 at Gorman Road. Four people fled on foot. Three of the four were apprehended, and the resident's property was returned.
