Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Theft from vehicles: Three vehicles parked in the 500 block of S. Eden St. were broken into overnight Saturday and property valued at nearly $4,000 was stolen. Taken were cellular phones, wallets, purses, compact discs, compact disc players and clothing. A tire iron thought to have been used to break the window of at least one vehicle was recovered at the scene.

Robbery: Two 24-year-old men were walking in the 300 block of S. Highland Ave. about 11 p.m. Saturday when two other men, one armed with a handgun, robbed them of a total of $500.

Burglary: Hand and power tools were stolen during the weekend from a house in the 1600 block of E. Lombard St.

Central District

Robbery: A woman, 22, was walking in the 200 block of W. Lanvale St. about 1:25 p.m. Sunday when she was assaulted by a man who stole her cellular phone.

Eastern District

Robbery: A 15-year-old boy was walking in the 700 block of E. Preston St. about 1 p.m. Sunday when two older males knocked him to the ground and robbed him of $30.

Burglary: A camera, compact disc player and several DVDs -- all valued at $875 -- were stolen Sunday from a house in the 1700 block of N. Chester St. by someone who entered through a basement door.

Southern District

Theft: Someone entered a house in the 2500 block of Salerno Place on Sunday and removed $400 from a hiding place known only to relatives of the victim.

Theft from vehicle: An in-dash stereo receiver and 20 compact discs -- all valued at $750 -- were stolen Sunday from a 1998 Kia parked in the 1300 block of Boyle St.

Theft from vehicle: Four suitcases containing several pieces of clothing, medications and a cellular phone -- all valued at more than $2,000 -- were stolen Sunday from a 1990 Honda Civic parked in a garage at Harbor Court Hotel in the 500 block of Light St.

Northern District

Burglary/arrests: A man and a woman were arrested Sunday and charged with entering a house under renovation in the 900 block of Reverdy Ave. and trying to steal paint and aluminum flashing valued at $300. Police found the property piled next to a door.

Theft: Jewelry valued at nearly $1,800 was stolen Sunday from a closet in a house in the 700 block of E. 41st St.

Theft from vehicle: Three cymbals --all valued at about $1,000 -- were stolen Sunday from a 1998 Volvo station wagon parked in the 4400 block of Millbrook Road.

Southwestern District

Stolen vehicle: A green 1987 Oldsmobile with tags JJA 236 was stolen Sunday in the 4500 block of Mountview Road.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Bank robbery: A man entered Susquehanna Bank in the 9700 block of York Road moments before the 1 p.m. closing Saturday, displayed a handgun and ordered a teller to give him money. After taking an undisclosed sum, the man tried to leave through the doors but they were locked. After several attempts, the man forced the doors open and escaped.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A 12-pack of beer and VHS movie tapes were stolen Sunday from a house in the 8500 block of Water Oak Road by someone who entered through a rear bathroom window.
