A Pikesville man was being held on $75,000 bond yesterday after he was arrested in the armed robbery of a pizza deliveryman in Eldersburg early Monday, Maryland State Police said.
The deliveryman had just finished a delivery in the 700 block of Irongate Circle when he was accosted by a man brandishing a silver handgun, police said. The man demanded money and then fled, police said. A vehicle matching a description given by the pizza deliveryman was stopped shortly afterward at Routes 26 and 97.
Richard John Maluski, 50, of Moores Court was being held at the Carroll County Detention Center on charges of armed robbery, robbery, handgun violence, assault and theft, police said.
